What is Indian Oasis Elementary School Primary’s attendance policy?
Regular school attendance is vital to your child’s educational success. We expect all students to be at school on time every day. We understand that illness does occur; if that is the case, parents must report any absences to the school office by 8:15 a.m. the day of the absence. Excused absences include illness of the student, death in the family, religious purposes, and medical appointments. However, please make every effort to schedule medical appointments outside the regular school day. Students who miss school must complete make-up work in a timely manner.

No electronic devices, including cell phones, pagers, radios, iPods, MP3 players, and electronic games are allowed to be in a student’s possession or on the school campus during school hours. We will confiscate these items for parents to pick up.

We do have a school uniform. Students may wear a maroon or white polo shirt and khaki or black bottoms. Students may not wear jeans. For more detailed information about the dress code, please read our student handbook, located in the Quick Links section of the Home page.
