A Message From Our Principal
S-ke:g taṣ
We are excited to begin another year of learning, growth, and community at Indian Oasis Primary School! Our top priority is to provide a safe, nurturing, supportive, and culturally responsive environment where every child can thrive and reach their full potential.
Our mission is to empower our students with a strong cultural identity so they can overcome challenges and make meaningful contributions to their communities throughout life. We envision a future where all students are equipped with the foundational skills to be college and career ready—and where they embrace and live their Himdag with pride.
Our district-wide academic goal is for 80% of students to achieve at least 70% mastery in each major academic cluster. To help us reach this goal, we ask for your support in making school attendance a top priority. Our district attendance target is 90% or higher, and we know that consistent, on-time attendance is key to your child’s success.
At Indian Oasis Primary School, we have built a strong culture of literacy and a love of reading. Our goal is for all students to be reading at or above grade level. We need your continued support in this effort—please make time to read with or to your child for 10 to 15 minutes each day to strengthen their reading fluency and comprehension.
We are grateful for the positive partnerships we share with our families and community. Together, we can make this school year a success. Thank you for your continued support, and welcome to a new year of opportunity and growth!
Please see our back-to-school newsletter for additional information.
Respectfully,
